Join J.C. as she emcee’s Harvest for Hope Silent Auction. This event supports Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s Residential Program Center’s emergency homeless and substance abuse treatment services. Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 19, 2011, 7pm-11pm at the NRECA Conference Center Ballroom in Arlington. The Residential Program Center was established in 1994 through a partnership with Volunteers of America Chesapeake and the Arlington County Government to provide three crucial services to the Arlington area all under one roof: social-model detoxification, substance abuse treatment services and emergency homeless shelter and supportive services for single adults. It is the only 24-hour program in Arlington County and routinely runs at full capacity (and with a waiting list!).

Kick off your walking shoes after the Fannie Mae Walk for the Homeless on the Washington National Mall and join JC at the Second Annual Harvest for Hope Benefit for the Homeless at the NRECA Ballroom in Balston starting at 7:00 p.m. It is going to be a great night of live entertainment featuring Jazz, blues and bluegrass, by 10 time Wammie Award winner, Esther Haynes, some amazing silent auction items,great food and fun for all.
