WASHINGTON (JCHAYWARD.COM) –Veterans Day is Sunday and a local restaurant wants to celebrate.
P.J. Clarke’s in D.C. will donate 50% of all Veterans Day Brunch Food Sales from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to the Fisher House, a charity that provides a home away from home for military families to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury.
In the past three years, P.J. Clarke’s has raised close to $500,000 for the organization, and plans to raise more than $10,000 for the Fisher House through the next week.
