WASHINGTON (JCHAYWARD.COM) –The Fourth Annual Capital Wine Festival is coming back to the D.C. area beginning January 25 at The Fairfax at Embassy Row.
The 10-week dinner event kicks off with a grand opening reception on January 25 at 6:30 p.m., which will highlight 10 wineries sponsoring the event including local wineries such as, Boxwood Vineyards, Tarara Winery, Doukénie Winery and Barboursville Winery.
This year, the event will showcase wines from California, Portugal and Italy. Menus will be created by Chris Ferrier, Executive Chef for the hotel and 2100 Prime, and will be created to complement the vintner’s selection for that dinner. Dinners will take place at 6:30 p.m. in 2100 Prime providing an intimate dining experience.
