WASHINGTON (JCHAYWARD.COM) –Since her mother’s death three years ago, JC has made it a tradition to treat herself to Thanksgiving dinner at one of her all-time favorite restaurants, The Inn at Little Washington.
“Chef Patrick O’Connell is undeniably the best chef in the country,” exclaims JC. “With its rustic feel and country elegance, The Inn at Little Washington, “transports you away from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan life and makes you forget any problems you have” says JC.
JC enjoyed a 7-course meal at her favorite table, which included Caviar, Pappardelle Pasta with Chanterelle Mushrooms, Apricots, and Ribbons of Country Ham, a helping of Turkey, Cornbread, Apple-Sausage-Pecan Stuffing, white bean soup, and two desserts. The two desserts were divine said Hayward, and included a Tahitian Vanilla Ice Cream Pop dipped in fresh coconut.
