LARGO, Md. (WUSA) –Students and staff at Prince George’s Community College will pack 500 food baskets on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bunker Hill Fire/ EMS Station #855 located at 3716 Rhode Island Avenue in Brentwood, Md.
The student’s participation helps the Prince George’s County Public Safety Assistance Program, Inc. sort boxes of non-perishables, fruit, vegetables and bread for the baskets that will be delivered to nearly 3,000 families in need of support.
In its 28th year, the Prince George’s County Public Safety Assistance Program, Inc. provides food for Prince George’s County households with multiple residents during the holiday season.
