People’s Choice Awards 2013: ‘Hunger Games’ Dominates

WASHINGTON (JCHAYWARD.COM) — Fans selected their favorites in television, movies, and music on Wednesday night at The 2013 People’s Choice Awards broadcast on CBS where Christina Aguilera, Jason Aldean, and Alicia Keys performed.

“The Hunger Games” took home a total of five trophies, the most at the show, for favorite movie, action movie, and movie franchise; as well as fans’ favorite on-screen chemistry, and Jennifer Lawrence as favorite movie actress.

Sandra Bullock won the show’s first favorite humanitarian award for all her work in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

Bullock was amongst many winners including Robert Downey, Jr., Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Hemsworth, Emma Watson, Zac Efron, Christina Aguilera, Ellen DeGeneres, Meryl Streep, Taylor Swift and more.
