Sasha & Solomon’s Friend Of The Week: Care Bear

WASHINGTON (JCHAYWARD.COM) — Meet The Washington Animal Rescue League’s Pet of The Week: Care Bear!

She is a beautiful 4-year-old blue Staffordshire terrier, who is a delightful companion. This girl is a real love bug, who when not playing tug of war or chasing her toys around the house, likes nothing better than cuddling with her humans on the sofa and watching some quality TV. Downton Abbey, anyone?

Care Bear is housetrained, knows basic commands like sit and stay, and walks very well on a leash. She is crate trained and happily hops into her crate when it’s time for bed. Over the holidays Care Bear visited her foster family’s relatives and proved herself an excellent house guest, playing well with other dogs and getting along with new people. She is a bit fearful of city traffic noise but with patience and training she will do fine with city life. This sweet girl would love to live with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children, and would be fine living with medium to large, mellow dogs.

For more information about beautiful Care Bear, please email her foster dad, email or call 202-726-2556 ext 503.
