Vehicle Ticketing & Towing Information For Inauguration Day

WASHINGTON (JCHAYWARD.COM) – The DC Department of Public Works wants to remind people coming to the city for Inauguration festivities on Monday to obey the Emergency No Parking signs posted throughout D.C.

Expired meters, residential parking and rush hour lane restrictions will be lifted on Monday. This means you will not be ticketed if you park in residential parking or if you have an expired meter.

Illegally parked cars will be ticketed and towed. Tow fees are $100 with a $20 daily storage fee applied after the first 24 hours.

If your car is towed, you should call 311 or the Towing Control Dispatch Center at 202.541.6083 to find out where your car is located.
