NEW ORLEANS, LA. (JCHAYWARD) — When you travel to New Orleans and want a good meal, you have to stop by Commander’s Palace nestled in the middle of the garden district.
Chef Tory McPhail’s menu has a distinctive flavor of Louisiana that strives for 90% of the ingredients to come from within 100 miles of their back door.
McPhail, who has been working on and off at the restaurant since he was 17, joined JC to prepare her favorite dish: Gumbo.
Hayward says when you go to Commander’s Palace, you don’t go for the food though its tastey, you go for the experience.
