WASHINGTON (JCHAYWARD.COM) — The blood relative of the great abolitionist, Frederick Douglass joined JC Hayward on Wednesday to celebrate Black history month.
Doctor Umar Johnson is a school psychologist and author of the new book, “Psycho Academic Holocaust: The Special Education & ADHD Wars Against Black Boy” that revisits Carter G. Woodson’s previous book, “The Mis-Education of the Negro.”
Umar Johnson is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who practices privately throughout Pennsylvania and lectures throughout the country. As a school psychologist, Umar evaluates children ages 3-21 in an effort to determine if they have educational disabilities, and a need for special education services.
Dr. Johnson will be at The University of the District of Columbia’s Van Ness Campus on Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m. to provide a 21st century analysis of Carter G Woodson’s book, “The Mis-Education of the Negro.”
